Terms
Last updated: August 26, 2026
nanofile.app is a free tool with no account and no payment. These terms describe what you can expect from it and what we expect from you.
The service
nanofile.app is provided by Digital Sandbox B.V. (Dutch Chamber of Commerce number 42124304) free of charge. There is no registration, no subscription and no payment.
The site renders markdown in your browser. We may change, improve or discontinue it at any time.
Your content stays yours
Whatever you open, paste or type here remains entirely yours. We acquire no rights to it, and because it never reaches us we could not use it even if we wanted to.
You are responsible for having the right to the files you open, and for keeping your own backup. The viewer stores your last document in your browser only; clearing your browser data, using another device or a private window will lose it.
Fair use
Use the site for what it is for. Do not attempt to disrupt it, overload it, or use it to attack anyone. Automated bulk use that degrades the service for others is not allowed.
No warranty
The site is provided as is. We do not guarantee that it is available without interruption, that every markdown feature renders exactly as another tool would render it, or that a converted or printed document is fit for a particular purpose. Check anything that matters.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from the use of this free service, including lost work or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or deliberate recklessness.
Third-party software
The viewer is built on open-source libraries, among them marked, DOMPurify, highlight.js and mermaid. They come with their own licences, which their projects publish.
Applicable law
Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law points elsewhere.
